VU Sialkot Campus organized training sessions in collaboration with Rescue 1122 on 29th May, 2023 (at Shahabpura campus) and on 06th June, 2023 (at Railway Road campus). Regional emergency officer, Rescue1122, Syed Kamal Abid Sahib and his team conducted these training sessions. The purpose of these sessions was to raise awareness among students about the significance of being prepared for emergencies and contribute to creating a safer community.
The training sessions were conducted in an interactive manner, incorporating presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. This approach ensured active participation and engagement from the students, making the sessions more effective. Furthermore, a question-and-answer session was conducted at the end of each training, allowing participants to seek clarification and adsohaildress any concerns they had.
After the training sessions, Campus Manager, Mr. Muhammad Shahid Munir expressed his gratitude to Regional Emergency Officer Syed Kamal Abid and presented him with CCI memento as a token of thanks for his personal involvement in raising awareness among students on how to respond during accidents/emergencies to ensure safety and protection of precious lives. Such practical training sessions will undoubtedly empower them to handle emergencies more confidently and ensure the safety of themselves and others.
